Yes exactly, a real opportunity for everyone to give anything they can afford that will make a real difference to these tow lads and an ex player at WHU who spent 10 Yrs at the club.

Here is a genuine opportunity to help people who really do need help - and it's related to West Ham.

It was his loan interest from the club for that day.

Sad story. Hope everything works out for them.

Re: Ex youth players in danger of being homeless
If these are genuine cases then the club should be stumping up a heck of a lot more than 800 fucking quid, especially in light of the fact that they spunk money away in the transfer market.

I think the homeless have a safe environment as 98% of fatal accidents happen in the home.

Re: Ex youth players in danger of being homeless
I seriously doubt that Gank. These are young boys who have lost both their parents with no immediate family in the UK leaving them living in sheltered accommodation and handouts from their local church.

They eldest cannot get another club after being with WHU for over 10 Yrs and the youngest is still at school and about to take his A levels.

If you don't want to donate fair enough, but don't write up bollocks to make you feel better. Cannot think of anything worse than losing your parents being so young and being left with nothing

Most of us are lucky enough to be able to work and a great number of us all have had our terrible times, me included, but we can all find it in ourselves to see when people are in genuine trouble and offer support and help.

Sorry* but I work for a living and I won't be giving any money to this 'cause'.

*I'm not sorry. I have lots of mates who have suffered worse whilst actually working hard and they don't expect my charity either.

Any chance of the current players getting their fat heaving wallets out and doing the right thing.
Or our glorious leaders, some hope

Re: Ex youth players in danger of being homeless
Really good cause - losing both your parents in such a short amount of time and at such a young age must be incredibly tough.

Always thought Amos looked good whenever I saw him. Hopefully he'll get picked up by another club.

Re: Ex youth players in danger of being homeless
Actually that could be the case, it was at £650 late last night so thats very plausible, either way, its great news for the two lads.

Keep the donations coming - £1, £5 a tenner it really helps.
